The Abandoned Mine Information System, or AMIS, is a database maintained by the Province of Ontario that tracks abandoned mines throughout the province. Due to the everchanging situation, and sometimes inaccurate data-keeping, understand that we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the data here as anything more than a starting point. To know what's actually at any location, you really have to go see for yourself.
